CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

Carnival Cruise Lines offers a top-rated children’s program, Camp Carnival
to entertain the 400,000+ kids cruising on Carnival this year. The hub of
Camp Carnival is “Children’s World”, a high-tech facility divided into three
distinct areas; arts and crafts, state-of-the-art computer lab, and a multi-
tiered climbing maze including an “activity wall” filled with toys, games, and
puzzles for kids of all ages.
CARNIVAL'S SIGN-OUT POLICY-Camp Carnival enforces a sign-
in/out policy for children 2-8 years old. The person signing must be the child’
s parent or guardian over the age of 18. The same person who signs the
child in must also be the same person who signs the child out. Camp
Carnival asks for parents to call frequently to check on their children.
Children 9-11 years old are free to come and go on their own from activities.
However, they must sign themselves in and out stating their reason for
leaving and the time they left. Children 9-12 should be given a cabin key.
After 10 p.m. intermediates must be picked up by their parents from the
Slumber Party of babysitting fees will apply.
INFANT CARE: Camp Carnival does not accept children under 2 during
activity time. Infants under 2 are welcome in the playroom each evening
from 10 p.m.-3 a.m. and on port days until 12 noon for babysitting. Youth
Staff does not provide babysitting in guest cabins.
BEEPER POLICY-Complimentary beepers will be provided to parents 5
and under. There is a $75 lost beeper charge and Camp Carnival asks
parents to carry the beepers at all times.
STROLLER RENTAL: Strollers are available for rental for $6 a day or $25
per week.
AFTER HOURS/SLUMBER PARTY: Babysitting is available every
evening from 10 p.m.-3 a.m. Infant-8 year olds have their slumber party in
Children’s playroom with movie time, snacks and juice. 9-11year olds have
after-hour activities with video games, movies, board games, snacks and
juice. The charge for babysitting is $6.00 per hour and $4.00 for each
additional sibling and will be charged to your Sail and Sign card. Any child
left past 3 a.m. will be charged double and will forfeit babysitting privileges
for the remainder of the cruise. Sign up for babysitting before 10:30 to avoid
disappointment.
MEDICATION: The staff of Camp Carnival cannot dispense medication.
LUNCH HOURS: Camp Carnival is closed between the hours 12 p.m.
and 2 p.m. every sea day. On port days children who are signed in may eat
with the staff.
DINNER HOURS: Camp Carnival offers dinner every night, except for the
first and last day of the cruise.
CLOSING TIMES: Check your Carnival Caper for daily closing times and
schedules. You will be charged a late fee if you pick up your child past
closing time.
SAFETY INFORMATION: All children under 11 are required to wear a
muster station wristband at all times.

welcome aboard party and registration.
