ALASKA RAILROAD COASTAL CLASSIC-ANCHORAGE TO SEWARD
By Paula Hughes Court, Editor, Family Travel Fun
"Brown bear on the left!" All passengers on the Alaska Railroad train
traveling from Anchorage to Seward jumped from their seats and ran
toward the left side windows searching frantically for the bear.
"There's a moose moving between the trees on the right!" yelled the
railroad's tour guide. The passengers laughed and dashed back to
the right looking for the moose. Cameras clicked constantly as
everyone tried to capture one decent shot of the animals.

I wondered if this was the norm for a trip on the Alaska Railroad since
we'd only traveled an hour and had already spotted eagles, bears, a
moose and several Dall sheep standing within ten feet of the train.
The answer is...yes it is. The Coastal Classic train trip from
Anchorage to Seward is a must do if you're traveling to Alaska.

Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas Review
by Paula Hughes Court, Editor, Family Travel Fun.com
This was our tenth cruise, the fifth on Royal Caribbean. The others
ranged from Radisson Seven Seas to Carnival and I’m happy to say
this was probably our favorite cruise of all. The cruise was port
intensive, maybe too much so for me. I missed the extra sea day and
was exhausted when we returned. This was due to the fantastic
selection of shore excursions which kept us snorkeling, sailing and
touring from dawn to dusk every day. We enjoyed ourselves so much
that we booked Adventure of the Seas again in February for the
Aruba-Curacao route.

SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN SHORE EXCURSIONS

THRILLER TOUR AND SNORKEL WITH TURTLES IN
BARBADOS WITH STEPHEN TRYHANE
When we arrived in Barbados, we awoke to pouring rain which
caused all of Adventure of the Sea's morning excursions on the water
to be cancelled. Luckily, we had privately booked the Thriller Turtle
and Shipwreck Tour with Stephen Tryhane so we took off as
scheduled from the Waterfront Cafe at 12:30. First stop was
snorkeling with giant sea turtles.

ST LUCIA TOUR REVIEW WITH PETER THE GREAT
We visited St Lucia while doing a Southern Caribbean cruise on
Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas. We were lucky to have
Peter the Great personally guiding our tour with his brother, Stanley,
driving the boat.
